This map shows the best RV storage facilities in the Vancouver area of Washington and surrounding areas. In full disclosure, these are probably all the facilities in Vancouver, Ridgefield, Salmon Creek, Camas, Battle Ground, and other large cities in Clark County, WA. Facilities in the Portland, Oregon area are not included. However, this list can be helpful to Oregonians looking for affordable RV and boat storage facilities, within a reasonable driving time.

Further down the page there is a list summarizing this information, with contact information. Each facility is assigned a number to correlate between the map and the list. The pins on the map are color coded as follows:

This information was obtained from the facilities’ websites and by studying areal images and street views. As such, it is possible this information has some errors.

The cheapest spaces are the outdoor storage facilities. As of 2023, advertised rates for these facilities range from about $100 per month to about $175 per month. There is one cheaper facility, but that one is farther out, it us unpaved, has no designated parking, and it probably has a lower level of security. Therefore, I decided to not include that facility in the price range, but it is in the map and list below.

Covered RV Storage and Covered Boat Storage Facilities

The next cheapest storage spaces are the covered storage facilities. As of 2022, advertised rates for these facilities range from about $145 per month to about $345 per month. These facilities are likely to be full or close to full. Reserving a space may take several weeks or months, especially at the best facilities.

Enclosed RV Storage and Covered Boat Storage Facilities

Finally, the most expensive storage spaces are the enclosed facilities. As of 2022, advertised rates for these facilities range from about $340 per month to $495 per month. However, these facilities are most likely full and have long waiting lists. In addition, you may need to drive farther to find available spaces.

What Constitutes the Best RV and Boat Storage Facility?

Opinions vary, but arguably some of the most important factors are location, security and price. When evaluating location, it is important to consider the amount of time it takes to drive to the facility and back. A facility in North Portland may be close to you, but traffic may be such that it could take you longer to drive there and back than a facility in Vancouver that has easy in and out freeway access.

This facility is located across I-5 from our RV storage Vancouver location. This new facility will provide high end covered RV storage.
