What are the best neighborhoods to live in Ridgefield, WA?
Ridgefield is a charming town known for its scenic beauty, friendly community, and a range of amenities that make it an great place to call home. Ridgefield is located in Clark County, North of Vancouver, WA. If you're considering moving to Ridgefield, you might be wondering which are the best neighborhoods.
Often the best neighborhoods are associated with the best schools. For this I like to use greatschools.org. However, Ridgefield is a small area that is serviced by well ranked schools with great facilities. Therefore, looking at neighborhoods from a school perspective isn’t very useful this time.
Ridgefield is a fast-growing area with new development (residential and commercial) emerging quickly. Therefore, I would be more inclined to looking at neighborhoods in terms of easy access and convenience. With this in mind, let’s first look the best neighborhoods to live in Ridgefield. First we’ll start by looking at neighborhoods close to I-5 and close to down town Ridgefield and then let’s look at neighborhoods located with a little less convenient access. 1) Pioneer Canyon, Green Gables, and Laurel Heights:
These neighborhoods are conveniently located off Pioneer Street, making them easily accessible and near everything Ridgefield has to offer. The area offers a mix of housing options, from contemporary homes to charming townhouses, making it suitable for families and individuals alike. Homes in this area were built after 2009. Home Prices Range from: $500,000 to $800,000.
2) Downton Ridgefield:
This charming area is a little more inland and offers a variety of styles and prices. This area is also close to the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Home prices range from $800,000 to well over $1,000,000
3) Cloverhill and Seven Wells:
These two neighborhoods are still conveniently accessible from Pioneer Street and in close proximity to restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Homes in these neighborhoods were built after 2018.
4) Ridgefield Heights:
Still easily accessible, this neighborhood offers newly constructed homes. Home prices range from $600,000 to $750,000
5) Wishing Well Estates:
This neighbor was constructed in 1999 and features larger homes and larger lots. It is located close to down town Ridgefield, but access from the freeway isn’t as convenient. Home prices range from $700,000 to $1,000,000
6)Tavern Ridge:
This neighborhood was constructed in 2005 and features homes with generously sized lots. Home prices range from $650,000 to $800,000
7) Newer Stillhurst Developments:
There are a number of newer developments along Stillhurst Rd such as Columbia Hills, Eagle Ridge Estates, Hilgurst Highlands, Viewridge Hollow, Hawks Landing and Kenedy Farm. These are farther away from Down Town Ridgefield, and a little more distant from I-5 access. However, these are in very close proximity to Ridgefield High School and View Ridge Middle School. Some of these neighborhoods are still in development and offer brand new construction.
